Our GPs are experienced in managing mental health problems and are the first point of contact for both physical and mental health issues. Your GP will talk to you about the symptoms you are experiencing and about any concerns; they may suggest treatment with medicaton, or psychological treatments. If needed they will make a referral for further assessment, treatment or specialist opinion such as psychiatrist.
