Travellers to Australia are required to take and return a negative PCR test 72 hours prior to departure. This can be tricky for travellers who have previously tested positive for COVID-19, and continue to return positive COVID PCRs, even some weeks after the initial infection.

The Australian government have recently outlined a path to exemption for travellers, which allows recently infected individuals to travel with a letter from a Doctor confirming they meet certain standards. Mayfield Clinic now offers these letters in the form of our Proof of Recovery Service.

You can find out more about the entry requirements from our Australia Entry Requirements news post, book your PCR test, or obtain a Certificate of Recovery.
