We are only able to offer repeat prescriptions for medications that our general practitioners have previously issued. If you require a repeat prescription for a medication we have not previously issued to you please either:

  • Book a standard GP consultation

  • Revisit the GP who made the original prescription

Who can obtain a repeat prescription?

Generally speaking, we only offer a repeat prescription service to our Members, for whom we hold a patient record at the practice.

 

We are not able to issue any repeat prescriptions for controlled drugs or sedative hypnotics including diazepam and sleeping pills as these can only be given during a consultation with your doctor.  We are unlikely to be able to prescribe antibiotics outside a consultation.  

 

How can members obtain a repeat prescription?

Please submit a written request for a repeat prescription to info@mayfieldclinic.co.uk, with the following information:

  • The name of each drug

  • The dose that you take

  • How often you take it

  • How many days or months supply you need or number of pills needed

Repeat prescriptions cost £35. 

 

This information will be reviewed by our clinicians. If they deem it appropriate, the repeat prescription will be issued. Otherwise, we will send you a link to book a medication review.

 

The repeat prescription will be sent electronically to your phone for collection at your preferred pharmacy.
