Immunisations (also known as vaccinations) are available at Mayfield Clinic. We offer a GP led immunisation service, meaning that our GPs are responsible for providing you with advice on the appropriate immunisation and they will also deliver the vaccine to you.
We do not keep a stock of immunisations at the practice. Immunisations are ordered 'on-demand'. Please allow 48 hours between booking your appointment and the appointment time for us to source your vaccine.
Immunisation advice
If you do not know which immunisation you need, please book a standard consultation with our GPs. They will be able to advise you which vaccines you need, and arrange future consultations for these to be delivered.
Booking an adult immunisation (Aged 12+)
For an adult immunisation, for each immunisation you require, you will pay:
A consultation fee - this is the fee for the clinician delivering the service. For adults, vaccines are delivered within a 15 minute short consultation.
A pharmacy fee - this is the cost of the immunisation
Please note: You will need to pay the immunisation fees for each immunisation you require. Some vaccines require 2 or 3 courses.
Booking a child immunisation (Aged 0-11)
For an child immunisation, for each immunisation you require, you will pay:
A consultation fee - this is the fee for the clinician delivering the service. For those 0-11, vaccines are delivered within a 30 minute consultation.
A pharmacy fee - this is the cost of the immunisation
Please note: You will need to pay the immunisation fees for each immunisation you require. Some vaccines require 2 or 3 courses.
