Appointments booked at Mayfield Clinic cover a specific time-slot, for example 11:00-11:30. During this appointment time, our clinicians are available to provide:
Advice or reassurance
Any investigations
Any letters or referrals
The allocated time also covers any note-writing that needs to be completed for your medical record. Please assume that your clinician will require at least 5 minutes for note-writing.
Once your consultation time window is over, to get further advice from a clinician you will need to book a follow-up appointment.
Administration completed outside of an appointment, such as post-appointment reports, is chargeable at our clinicians' normal hourly rate.
